October Mist in Glacier National Park

Unplugging from the noise and confinements of every day is necessary to achieve a balanced life. One of the best places to find solace is in nature. Montana has plenty of wide-open spaces, mountain trails, and scenic spots that offer a beautiful and refreshing escape.

Rain or shine, Glacier National Park offers spectacular beauty.

Most of the Going-to-the-Sun road has been closed off to visitors, but there is still plenty to enjoy. Mist covered most of the mountain views, and as you can see from below, the flowing waters are clear and brilliant.

I do like open roads with no other vehicles to block the view. While a few visitors can be found this time of year, it almost feels like you have the park to yourself.

McDonald Falls was in fine form. The yellow-gold from the western larch trees contrasted nicely with the falls and snow in the background.

How do you #unplug? Where do you find your #escape?
