With autumn in the air and Thanksgiving around the corner, we strive to create a warm and cozy atmosphere that embodies the shades and scents of the season. While a pie bakes or soup simmers, we set an inviting table that celebrates nature.
Rich colors and a careful mix of curated items make for a table setting that offers both a rustic and comfortable setting with a touch of elegance.
The vines are real from our extra-large plants that are determined to survive through the first snows and frosts of November. While you may not find them on an actual table setting, here they offer a touch of nature and color to the beautiful plates.
We no longer have gardens from which to cut flowers, so we rely on what we can find locally. We mixed a variety of flowers with feathers to create our autumn centerpiece.
Feathers are a beautiful addition to any arrangement. We think they go especially well in autumn decorating.
Contrast always makes for a beautiful statement. The whites and deep colors of the table offer a delightful backdrop for the brighter colors of the flowers.
Do you decorate for Thanksgiving? The different seasons? What is your favorite thing about autumn or Thanksgiving?
