Fried food is delicious, and yet many hesitate to make it a home. Air-frying chicken has become one of our new favorite home-cooked meals. It's easy, tasty, and cooks in less than twenty minutes. Served with biscuits and macaroni salad (not pictured) the chicken turned out to be a delightful week-night dish.
These fun chicken plates were picked up at a local consignment shop. The glasses were found at TJ Maxx, but you can also find them online. Scroll down to the shop links at the end of the post. The plaid tablecloth and charming polka-dot napkins are Potterton Hill. The white dishes are no longer available in our searches, but we've added a substitute in our shop links below.
We never know when we'll use little items, like the darling lantern candles below, but that "never knowing" is why we grab them up when we can.
The adorable chicken in the centerpiece was also found at a local consignment shop. The arrangement, like many our resident floral designer puts together, is a combination of silk and real flowers. Don't be shy about experimenting with arrangements. Flowers brighten a table, and a nice centerpiece does not require expensive flowers.
We think these are best served fresh and hot, but don't worry if you make too many. Chances are you won't because these are serious crowd-pleasures. It turns out these freeze well and defrost beautifully in the fridge. Warm them for a minute in the air-fryer, oven, or microwave at a low temperature.
If you try the recipe, don't forget to tell us how it worked out for you. If you have another air-fryer recipe you think we should try, let us know!
